Twin Buttes is a planned subdivision located near downtown Durango at an elevation of  6,838 feet. The development encompasses 900 acres, with a significant portion dedicated to open space, parks, trails, wildlife preservation, and community gardens. The neighborhood is being constructed in phases and includes a mix of single-family, multi-family, commercial, and school-designated sites. Residential lots are small, with development guided by a sustainable community design approach.

What to Expect

Twin Buttes has been developed in multiple phases, with most of the neighborhood already completed. To the best of current knowledge, only a few additional phases remain to be built out. Underground utilities were installed as part of the infrastructure development, followed by road construction. 

Lifestyle

Daily life in Twin Buttes includes proximity to downtown Durango while remaining within a master-planned community. Trails within the development are open to the public, and community gardens are already in place. The subdivision incorporates designated open space and shared community areas as part of its design.
