Durango Ridge Ranch is a rural residential subdivision located off Highway 160 West, just beyond the Durango West II subdivision in La Plata County, Colorado. The community sits in a valley at an elevation of 7,641 feet and includes large ranchette-style homesites. The terrain ranges from rolling to steep, with areas containing ponderosa pine trees and other sections covered in gamble oak.

What to Expect

Durango Ridge Ranch is a gated subdivision with gravel roads maintained by the homeowners association. Water is obtained through individual private wells, and sewer service is provided by individual septic systems. There is no natural gas service. Electric service is provided by La Plata Electric Association. HOA dues are $1,300 per year as of May 2026.

Lifestyle

The subdivision adjoins Colorado Division of Wildlife lands. Many properties are used for rural living. The neighborhood is located approximately 14 minutes from Downtown Durango (DoubleTree Hotel).
