Skyridge is a neighborhood on the east side of Durango developed beginning in the late 1990s. The area sits at an elevation of approximately 7,001 feet and occupies a valley running southwest to northeast. Homes are located on both sides of the valley, with townhomes primarily located along Jenkins Ranch Road and additional homes extending up the valley slopes. The neighborhood includes a mix of townhomes, condominiums, and single-family homes with sizes ranging from approximately 1,008 to 5,681 square feet.

What to Expect

Skyridge remains an area that has continued development since it began in the late 1990s. The main road through the subdivision is Jenkins Ranch Road, named after the family that previously ranched the land. The neighborhood includes Durango’s first roundabouts installed along that road. Streets include curb and gutter infrastructure, and the area is served by city water, city sewer, and natural gas.

Lifestyle

Skyridge is located on the east side of Durango with proximity to Fort Lewis College and downtown Durango. The neighborhood includes a developed trail on its eastern boundary that connects to the Horse Gulch trail system.
